I'm continually amazed at the attitude of many home inspectors who believe that the same home inspection fits the needs of a renter who just wants to document the condition of the property at move-in and move-out, a buyer who wants the most thorough inspector in the world, a seller who doesn't care about describing the property (a wood-framed house on a raised foundation with multi-pane windows and a concrete driveway and..., an investor who is going to gut and renovate and doesn't care about the dings in the walls, etc.
Technology allows inspectors to meet the many different needs, wants, and goals of different Clients, and at different prices.
